Marigold Extract

The marigold extract comes from the marigold flower, also known as Tagetes erecta, noted for its bright yellow and orange colouring and therapeutic features. The petals get harvested; they are then extracted with a solvent, such as hexane or ethanol, to isolate dose forms of lutein and zeaxanthin, which are the major carotenoids in the marigold flowers. These are essential in maintaining the health of the eyes and overall antioxidant support.
