Adverse Events: No serious adverse events were reported in the study.

Clinical Examination: The changes observed in oral temperature, blood pressure (systolic and diastolic), pulse rate and respiratory rate on Day 90 as compared with Day 0 (baseline) were not significant.

Laboratory Data (Hematology): The changes observed in hematology parameters on Day 90 as compared with Day 0 (baseline) were not significant.

Laboratory Data: (Biochemistry): The changes observed in biochemistry parameters on Day 90 as compared with Day 0 (baseline) were not significant.

1) Pharmacology: Based on the observed results of Perceived Stress Score, Beck’s Anxiety Inventory, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Serum Cortisol (mcg/dl) levels it can be concluded that “Test Product” has shown better efficacy than “Control Product”.

2) Efficacy & Pharmacoeconomics: Based on the observed results it can be concluded that though the “Test Products” dosage was lesser by 16.67% per day, it has shown better efficacy than “Control Product”- which is a market leading product. This not only reduces the dumping of the product in our fragile human body but also plays a huge role in unit economics of the final dosage form.

3) Safety: Based on the observed results it can be concluded that the “Test Product” is safe to use on human. It can be extrapolated from the data that the product is safe to use on animals as well.

It has to be noted that this study had a small number of participants- 40 patients in each group,( i.e. a total of only 80 patients.)

Going by the current data, we believe that a study with higher sample size could have shown a better statistical significance between the Test and the Control Product thereby proving that +91 Ashwagandha is far more superior than the current market leader of Ashwagandha.
